Lolo Francis

Lolo teaches yoga because this practice saved her life.

Yoga continues to open her heart and help her to navigate the sometimes thorny path to acceptance & forgiveness. Her background as a professional singer shows up in class as a focus on the music of your body in motion — the beat of your heart, the rhythm of your breath, the song of your soul. By listening to the wisdom within, we start to see how incredible we truly are, and can live more authentic, fulfilling lives, inspiring others to do the same.

Lolo’s classes are direct and challenging in their simplicity, intended to bring to light what happens when you stand in the fire. She believes that when we practice being uncomfortable, we become unshakable. We all have the capacity to go toward the light, but first we have to embrace the shadow: Whatever your past, whatever your present, your future is wide open when you stand in your power!

32, paramedic in nursing school, been practicing yoga for 5 years, lived in sac for 3, LOVE my family and my dog and spend as much time hiking and outdoors as possible.

I started practicing yoga about a year ago to heal my mind and body after a series of car accident injuries. Needless to say I fell in love with the practice and the community. When I am not at school, odds are you'll find me at the studio smiling at the front desk or in class. The Inferno Hot Pilates was so results oriented for me, I decided to go to IHP training and now am able to teach the class!

Julie Havelock

I attended my first Bikram yoga class to stretch out and give therapy to my sore muscles and back pain. I immediately became hooked. I had never before experienced a total body workout that gave me so much energy and such a complete sense of wellbeing. I became convinced this style of yoga was the key to superior health and wellness. An unanticipated but important bonus was how much this yoga was helping my sleep, moods, blood pressure, stress level, cholesterol levels, and countless other things I couldn’t see or feel.

Through all my trials and tribulations, yoga has always been a source of solace for me.My goal is to bring the healing of yoga to anyone who wants to be apart of its community. I hope you find Purely Hot Yoga to be a friendly and supportive place. I hope you discover the healing, sense of peace and well being that so many others have found through this practice.
